Special Guest Bio:

Dr. Kathryn Golab, DCLS, MLS(ASCP)^CM, SH^CM, is the Clinical Laboratory Utilization Specialist at Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories (WDL) in Milwaukee, WI. Kathryn is an active member of ASCP, where she is currently the chair of the National Social Media Committee and a career ambassador. She also is a member of ASCLS and is active at the Wisconsin State level as the current secretary for the Board of Directors, and on the national level as a member of the Consumer Response Team. She also is on the Menomonee Falls High School Healthcare Career Academy Board of Directors as a member at large. In 2022, she was awarded the ASCP Board of Certification Lab Superstar Award Runner-up, is a 2021 ASCLS Voices under 40 awardee, and has multiple publications related to social media and laboratory administration. When not promoting the laboratory profession, she enjoys hiking and reading books in her free time.
